Cask Aged for 4 Months in Scotch Whisky Barrels

Ingredients; Red Peppers, Water, Habenero, Agave Syrup, Jalapeños, Grape juice, Green tea, Sea Salt and Yeast

“We at Chardy’s, are all about respecting the pepper. So we developed a unique double fermentation technique and avoided using vinegar and in order to enhance the fresh fruit character of the peppers. The sauce is balanced with a touch of smoke by roasting the peppers on a wood fire and then matured in Whisky Barrel’s to develop it’s rich complex,  fruity, smoky and tangy signature flavour. Power to the pepper!”

This wonderful Barrel Select sauce – matured in Scottish Whisky Barrels for 4 months – gives it a complex, well rounded, oak aged, gentle smokey finish. Complimented by the vibrant, fruity double fermented peppers – Clever stuff! We absolutely love it!

This sauce is extremely versatile – delicious on pasta, compliments any BBQ foods, a great burger sauce, drizzle over veggies, wraps and a real game changer for a Bloody Mary!
